I knew from the start of the program that I loved reporting, and (the) experience I had in broadcasting reinforced that. BYU’s Communications program absolutely prepared me to compete in the intense world of TV news. I’m not sure I could have won this Gracie without such great support from my classmates, my professors and my husband. Our teachers didn’t just pass along information, they mentored and pushed, and forced us to hone our skills. They answered emails at all hours of the day or night! And their guidance is what helped me learn so much and improve the way I did. Stepping into the professional world now has been so easy because of that precious mentoring.

It’s to understand what is and isn’t true.[/blockquote] [/three_fourth_last]
