"To know I would actually be there where so many famous dancers have trained
was an experience and feeling I could have never prepared for.”
- Montana Shugars

“I want to be one of those people who goes to places to find people who don’t have the means
to get their message out to the world. Being the liaison between them and the rest of the world
is what inspired me to pursue media arts.”
- McKinley Haas

"Experiences like going to New York help you gain experiences and skills that prepare
you for your career. It’s so exciting, and college is the perfect time to capitalize on those experiences.
I’d encourage everyone to go, a million times over, it was so fun and I learned so much!”
- Brooklyn Riepl

"From a textbook, one can discuss theory and concept. From a gallery or a purposeful setting,
one feels the presence of art and can discern the power – or lack thereof – personally.”
-Brynne Capps

What does it mean to “Share Your Story”?

Share Your Story is a year-round campaign designed to exhibit the powerful learning that happens outside of the classroom. Students can take photos, videos, or write short essays that will then be shared by the CFAC in the college-run social media and news.

During certain times of the year, we incorporate the Share Your Story campaign into our ExperienceCFAC contest. For more information on submission dates and processes, please see the ExperienceCFAC Contest Page.
